I HEAR LOVE

I hear the loud whispers of love.

The soft yelling of love, I hear.

I resist the urge to turn in its direction,

even as I cock my ear.

Love's soft murmuring attempts

to caress my aching heart.

Its healing voice attempts

to attend to my wounded heart.

I hear love, yet I wait.

I hear love and yet I hesitate.

I hear love.

Belief and Faith, stand against doubt.

Don't let that nasty little sucker in.

Keep my focus on God's word and the things of Him.

Belief and Faith, stand against doubt.

Don't let him gain any ground.

Belief and Faith, stand against doubt.

Keep him silent; not able to make a sound.
